 The winter jacket has a detachable hood that is attached to the fleece-lined collar with snap fasteners. It can be adjusted at the top with Velcro and the face opening has a flexible visor. The sleeves have elastic cuffs and snow guards with thumb holes.
 The jacket opens with a zip with chin guard and double wind flap, with the outer flap closing with snap fasteners. There are two distinctive flap pockets with Velcro fastening at the front. The winter jacket is lightly quilted and has a smooth woven lining.
