The jacket closes at the front with a high-quality YKK zipper and a chin guard. It has a detachable hood and front zip pockets. The jacket also has a zipped pocket on one sleeve for the ski pass. The sleeves have practical snow gaiters with a wide ribbed knit and an opening for the thumb, which can be tightened with Velcro. The jacket has an internal snow gaiter that closes tightly around the child's hips and prevents snow and wind from getting under the jacket and into the ski pants. The jacket has an adjustable elastic hem, which also helps keep out snow and cold. The trousers close at the front with a high-quality YKK zip and snap fasteners and have removable elastic suspenders that can be adjusted in length to achieve a snug fit. Velcro fastener at the bottom of the trouser legs and snow gaiters at the ankles with non-slip elastic edge that closes tightly around the boots.
