 The lightweight jacket has a detachable hood that closes with snaps. It can be adjusted at the top with a Velcro fastener and it has a wide ribbed edge in the face opening.  The lightweight Wheat jacket opens with a zip with chin guard and double wind flap, which is closed on the outside with press studs. There are practical flap pockets on the front that are closed with a press stud. The lightweight jacket has a checked, smooth woven lining.
